Don't let the language barrier deter you. You don't have to parler Francais or sprechen Deustch if you want to study in Europe these days.

The European Higher Education Fair Hong Kong, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, began two years after the European Union started a concerted campaign to boost Europe's competitiveness in higher education and research.

Since then, traditional European degree systems have been replaced by the conventional bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees - with many now in English.

A total of 51 institutions from 13 countries will present their study programs and discuss individual needs with the visitors at the fair. English- language study programs will be highlighted.

Date: March 13 to 14,

1pm to 6 pm.

Venue: Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road,

Causeway Bay
